THE CONNECTION WE'VE LOST

What If We Knew the People Who Grew Our Food Again?

Some of the people growing food for your community may live closer than you think. But today, finding them and knowing what they have available often means searching across websites, social media, farmers markets, and word of mouth.

Farm Allegiance is being built to make that connection simple again.

KNOW WHO GREW IT

One weekly guide. Local farms. Direct connections.

SO WE’RE BRINGING IT BACK

Meet The Farm Ledger

The Weekly Local-Food Guide for Your Community.

A simple weekly guide we're building to bring together what's available from nearby farms — what's fresh, who grew it, and where to buy it directly.

WHY WEEKLY?

Local Food Doesn't Stand Still

What farms have available changes constantly. Strawberries ripen. Eggs sell out. Beef bundles become available. CSA spots open. Market schedules change. U-pick weekends are announced.

That's why The Farm Ledger isn't a static farm directory. It's designed to give your community a fresh look at what's happening with local food each week.

WHY IT MATTERS

We’re Losing More Than Farms

15,000
fewer U.S. farms in just one year.

When a farm disappears, a community can lose generations of knowledge, local food production, independence, and another connection to the people who feed it.

OUR WHY

Good Farms Shouldn't Be So Easy to Miss

Behind every farm is a family betting part of its future on the land.

They work early mornings, long days, unpredictable seasons, rising costs, and narrow margins. Then after all of that, many still have to figure out how to get noticed.

Farmers shouldn't have to become social-media experts simply so families nearby know they're there.

What if we made that connection easier?

More visibility for farms. A simpler way for families to find them. And more opportunities to buy from the people growing food nearby.

That's why I'm building Farm Allegiance.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Questions Before We Get Started?

Farm Allegiance is still being built, community by community. Here’s what to know before joining the list.

Is The Farm Ledger available yet?

+

Not yet. We’re building our first communities now. Joining the list helps us understand where families and farms want The Farm Ledger most so we can decide where to launch first.

Is The Farm Ledger free for families?

+

Yes. The Farm Ledger is being designed as a free weekly guide for families. There is no membership required to join the launch list.

Why do you need my ZIP code?

+

Farm Allegiance is local by design. Your ZIP code helps us see where there is enough interest from both families and farms to build a useful local Farm Ledger.

What will be inside The Farm Ledger?

+

The Farm Ledger is being designed to bring together what local farms have available each week — including produce, eggs, meat, dairy, farm stands, farmers markets, CSA openings, seasonal specials, farm events, and simple ways to buy directly from participating farms.

Will Farm Allegiance sell the farm’s products?

+

No. Farm Allegiance is being built to help families discover farms, not take over their businesses. Farmers will continue controlling their prices, inventory, sales, and customer relationships.

Farm Allegiance helps you find the farm. The relationship stays between you and the farmer.

I’m a farmer. What happens when I join?

+

You’ll join our Founding Farm list for your area. As we prepare to launch a community, we’ll contact interested farms directly with details about participation, weekly availability, and how The Farm Ledger will work.

Still have a question? We’d love to hear from you.
